Where we are:

Swan House Guest Rooms are in the village of Long Hanborough, 4 miles from the historic town of Woodstock and Blenheim Palace, 5 miles from the market town of Witney and 10 miles north of Oxford.

The eastern boundary of the Cotswolds runs along the bottom of the garden and the beautiful Evenlode valley is a short walk from our rooms.

Hanborough railway station is approximately 5 minutes away by car for the 10 minute train ride into the centre of Oxford, to visit the university, parks, shops and restaurants. London Paddington station can be reached in just over an hour. Hanborough Station has car parking facilities.

Popular Cotswold tourist attractions such as Bourton-on-the-Water, Broadway and Stratford-upon-Avon are all within an hour's drive of the guest rooms.

How to get here:

By car:

We are just off the A4095 at the western end of Long Hanborough.

From the Woodstock direction continue through Long Hanborough. Just after the mini-roundabout turn right into Millwood End (Signpost to Combe and Combe Mill).

From the Witney direction turn left into Millwood End a short distance after entering Long Hanborough (Signpost to Combe and Combe Mill).

Long Hanborough is approximately 13 miles from junction 9 of the M40 and 16 miles from junction 8.

By train:

Hanborough railway station is a 15 minute walk away. Please ask about possible shuttle arrangements to and from the station. Local buses stop at both the station and a 3 minute walk from us at New Road bus stop.

By bus:

Long Hanborough is served by buses to and from Witney, Woodstock and Oxford.
